How many people can join a private charter?+

The Breakaway accommodates up to 32 passengers, the New Horizons II up to 18 passengers, and the VTR 38 up to 6 passengers. Breakaway and New Horizons II are U.S. Coast Guard inspected and legally certified for these capacities — unlike most private boats in the area which are limited to 12 guests.

What’s the difference between the vessels?+

Breakaway is the full all-inclusive experience — meals, open bar, snorkel gear, and crew all included, for groups up to 32. New Horizons II is the bare-bones value option — you get the entire boat privately with captain and crew, without the catering and bar package. The VTR 38 is our brand-new luxury option for intimate groups — a full-day, 8-hour private charter with an elevated feel for up to 6 guests.

Can we choose where we go?+

Absolutely. That’s the whole point of a private charter. Your captain will work with you to plan a custom itinerary based on your group’s interests, current sea conditions, and visibility. Popular destinations include Buck Island, Turtle Cove, Honeymoon Beach, and the stunning bays of St. John.

Can we go to the British Virgin Islands?+

These private charters operate within U.S. Virgin Islands waters only and cannot travel to the British Virgin Islands. For an incredible BVI experience, please check our other tour offerings.

How far in advance should we book?+

Private charters book up quickly, especially during peak season (December through April). We recommend booking at least 2–4 weeks in advance to secure your preferred date. Last-minute availability does sometimes exist — call or text us directly at 340-690-1926 to check.

Is this good for corporate events or celebrations?+

Perfect for it. We regularly host birthday parties, anniversaries, bachelorette and bachelor parties, corporate team outings, and family reunions. Tell us the occasion when you book and we’ll make sure it’s special.
